Little Liberty

Before the pandemic, the dining hall at the French Ambassador’s residence was known for its glamorous diplomatic parties. Two months after Little Liberty was unveiled on the front lawn, Philippe Étienne was recalled from the U.S. over political tensions during the residence’s first luncheon in over a year.
