Pollyanna

Poor Mrs. Snow (Pam Ferris) is the kind of person who always wants something she’s not given. But even though Mrs. Snow is ill, Pollyanna (Georgina Terry) tries to think of something for her to be glad about. It is harder than Pollyanna thought, but maybe she’ll break through or at least get Mrs. Snow to open those curtains!

After the death of her father, Pollyanna moves in with her embittered aunt. Soon, she charms everyone in the village she now calls home--except her cold-hearted aunt who refuses to see the brighter side of life. Aunt Polly, despite her vast wealth treats Pollyanna more like an stranger than a relative, but when tragedy strikes, Pollyanna's sunny outlook persuades her aunt to confront past ghosts.

After her father’s death, Pollyanna (Georgina Terry) moves in with her Aunt Polly (Amanda Burton). Aunt Polly lives a comfortable life on a huge estate, yet she cannot bring herself to welcome Pollyanna with an open heart.

Pollyanna (Georgina Terry) teaches Nancy (Kate Ashfield) how to play the “Glad Game." The object of the game is to find something to be glad about in anything, no matter how unfortunate. Pollyanna’s father taught her the game and she is determined to continue playing it playing it even though he is no longer with her. Nancy has a feeling it will come in handy with Aunt Polly.
