Sarah Cloyce begins her testimony with the arrival of the Rev. Parris and his family. Tituba, Parris's West Indian servant, inflames the impressionable minds of some of the girls of Salem with stories of voodoo and devil worship. Fueled by malice, the girls begin to level charges of witchcraft at some of the women in the community. Sarah's sister Rebecca is arrested after being named by the girls.

As the drama concludes, a verdict is rendered.
