Clay Artists of Mata Ortiz

Forty years ago he looked around his small Mexican village and found some exquisite pots made thousands of years ago. He developed his own techniques for creating similar works of art from the area’s natural bounty of clay and paints. It was the launch of an artistic and economic revolution: He began to share his skills with everybody in the town.
