Arts in Foggy Bottom
The Arts in Foggy Bottom Outdoor Sculpture Biennial created controversy in 2018 with a piece called Three Hoodies by DC native Nehemiah Dixon III. GALA Hispanic Theatre
GALA Hispanic Theatre is located in the historic Tivoli Building, built in 1924. Originally a movie theater, it was of eighteen owned by local magnate Harry Milton Crandall (1879-1937), including the Apollo on H St NE (now an apartment building) and the Lincoln Theatre on U St NW.
