A WETA Arts December holiday tradition, Songs of the Season is an hour-long special offering vocal performances from D.C. area choral groups. The special aims to highlight the region's large and diverse choral landscape, providing a platform to showcase the outstanding talent in the national capital region.
Choirs and choral groups may submit video recordings of their concerts for consideration by a panel of artistic advisors and the WETA Arts production team. Submissions are accepted online, with the submission window for 2026 set to open in late 2025.
