Songs to Keep: Treasures of an Adirondack Folk Collector
Delve into the musical legacy of Marjorie Lansing Porter, who dedicated her life to preserving Adirondack folk songs. In the 1940s and '50s, she traveled across New York, recording traditional music to create a collection of over 300 rare ballads, lumber camp tunes, Irish songs and Iroquois chants. It features performances by The Bacon Brothers.
