The Nile

The Nile is the world’s longest river. From elephants and leopards to extreme kayakers and ancient wonders, its great length provides a lifeline for Africa’s wildest beasts and for some of the world’s most incredible cultures.

The 160-foot wide Nile is squeezed through a 23-foot chasm in the rocks, creating one of the most powerful waterfalls in the world. A gateway into an untamed savannah world below.

A mother crocodile has buried her eggs in the sand, but their scent attracts in hungry mouths from the riverbank. Nile monitor lizards try their luck against the mighty Nile Crocodile.

The once country home of Uganda’s brutal dictator, Idi Amin, has been reclaimed by the savannah’s wildlife.
