Voters in Kansas turned out in record numbers Tuesday and overwhelmingly rejected a proposed amendment that would have removed the right to an abortion from the state constitution and opened the door for the Republican-controlled legislature to pass restrictions or an outright ban. The baseball world is mourning the loss of the Hall of Fame sportscaster Vin Scully, who died Tuesday at the age of 94. He called games for the Los Angeles Dodgers for 67 years, the longest tenure any broadcaster has had with a professional team. Many in and out of sports said he was the best there ever was. Jeffrey Brown, who profiled Scully in 2009, looks back at his monumental career.
