"John - Living With Mental Illness", is a powerful and thought-provoking exploration of schizophrenia and the challenges faced by those living with this condition. The film follows the journey of John Smith, a 53-year-old man in Elkton, Maryland who lives with schizophrenia and uses rapping and entertainment to cope with his mental illness.

Single mother Nori Vito grew up in an American family but was adopted from a Romanian orphanage. She is one of over 100,000 children who are not true orphans, but the result of Romania's ban on abortion and contraceptives. With only a few clues from her past life, Nori travels to Romania and Greece to meet her long lost family and finds herself not fully healed, but forever changed.

A Time for Burning, a film by Bill Jersey, documents socially conscious Pastor Bill Youngdahl's unsuccessful efforts to drive reform by arranging visitations between his parish, the Omaha Augustana Lutheran Church, and a nearby black church in 1966. The film aired nationally on public television and was nominated for the Best Documentary Picture Academy Award in 1967.
