Fishing Pono

The commercial exploitation of Pacific fisheries shows that current practices are unsustainable and will leave nothing for future generations. On the island and in the waters of Moloka'i, lifelong fisherman Kelson 'Mac' Poepoe's fishing conservation program, based on ancient Hawaiian practices, is turning the tide on a seemingly doomed resource for the community.
