Ms. Margo, seer of her clan, joins J in the garden as they listen to and explore messages from nature, including trees, herbs, and, of course, flowers. Ms. Margo also provides insight on newest garden denizen, Georgy Girl. Included: a bouquet of garden flowers and an herb based mocktail.

Solution to the constant, yet ever-changing challenges in the growing and farming of flowers is in the spotlight. Kendall Farms looks beyond sustainability, incorporating regenerative practices that renew farmland. J arranges flower bouquets with the beautiful results of all this ingenuity.

This episode of Life In Bloom revolves around honey and honeycomb in literal and figurative ways. J shares vintage and current honeycomb tissue paper decorations, and how to incorporate them with flowers. A visit to Two Bee’s Protea Farm on the north shore of Oahu. J arrange flowers in golden hues, and prepares a cocktail with a taste of honey.

Today on Life in Bloom we’re going to the Frogs - Flower Frogs, that is. What’s old is new again as various types of flower frogs are reviewed that assist in arranging flowers. J’s flower friend Jenn Pascua joins the fun, which includes a beverage called the Flower Frog with recipes for cocktail and mocktail versions.

Permanent flowers provide many of the same benefits as fresh flowers. J creates permanent arrangements, showing the best techniques for assembly. Southern Magnolia is the featured flower. Also included: an arrangement made from toy building bricks, and a tribute to the show’s biggest fan.
