The U.S. is reeling from its latest mass shooting, which took place yesterday in Boulder, Colorado. This is the country's 7th documented mass shooting in the past week, coming barely 6 days after 8 people in Atlanta were shot to death, including 6 women of Asian descent. Gun safety advocate Tom Mauser, whose son Daniel was killed in the 1999 Columbine High School shooting, joins the program.

The pandemic rages on in the UK, and so too does a national epidemic of violence against women. The conversation was triggered by the abduction and murder of Sarah Everard in London earlier this month. British lawmaker Jess Phillips has a brief on domestic violence and protecting women as Shadow Minister for the opposition Labour Party. She joined Christiane from Birmingham.
