Whether celebrated or reviled, Kissinger’s contradictions reflect those at the heart of America’s foreign policy during the second half of the 20th century, a period in which America became the unchallenged superpower in the world yet often pursued policy at odds with its own highest ideals.

A MORE PERFECT UNION, premiering on November 24^th, examines how we think about America’s founding and how the ideas and values articulated 250 years ago remain relevant to conversations about governance today. It features Ken Burns in conversation with Jeffrey Rosen, Melody Barnes and Yuval Levin, among others. The discussion explores essential themes such as liberty, equality, democracy, separation of powers and civil rights.

Murder in the Mountains follows the dedicated investigators of the picturesque Austrian town of Kitzbuhel. They tackle complex criminal cases where secrets unravel and danger lurks behind every mountain vista. Season 2 sees the team take on a range of murder cases driven by revenge, jealousy and long-hidden family secrets.
