Justo arrives in Barcelona ready to do whatever it takes to cure his sick mother. He meets Carme and they fall in love.

Justo tries to enter Barcelona's high society. He becomes an involuntary hero of the anti-Franco youth and begins his double life as an informant.

Justo works for one of the most powerful men in town and tries to build a relationship with his daughter. Meanwhile, he seeks information as a confidant of the police to try to stop his impending fraud trial.

Justo infiltrates the anti-Franco resistance and gains the trust of one of its leaders, Eliseu Ruiz. He tries to discover his plans and report him to the police while trying to win back Carme's love.

After several blows as an informer, Justo dreams of retiring and returning to Carme, but his plans are thwarted when Mateo and the police put the girl in their crosshairs.

Converted into a man who has lost everything, Justo survives in a far-right terrorist group. When he discovers the betrayal to which he was subjected, he goes into a spiral of revenge, ready to go to the last consequences.
