Relative Race

Three teams battle it out for $50,000 at the Forge Adventure park in the outskirts of Chicago Illinois. The first challenge will have our teams battle out their fear of heights in a ropes course full of trivia. The second challenge is a relay race with a giant zip line. And the final challenge is a gauntlet with a 20-foot target at the end.

Team Blue gets a surprise knock at the door that will reunite long lost family. A penalty created by Relative Race fans will have our teams skipping through the challenge. When our teams arrive at their relatives, Mitchell on Team Blue finally finds out what happened to his mother. And Patrick's relatives gather to give him a special gift in remembrance of Patrick's son.

At the challenge, teams will have to use their knightly plunging skills. Once the teams reach their relatives, it's a day full of siblings and joy. But a sibling isn't the only surprise for Team Red. Andy on Team Green learns about his sister and his father. And Mitchell on Team Blue is finally reunited with the one person he's been searching for his entire life.

A devastating injury at today's challenge threatens one of our teams as they make an emergency visit to the doctor. When Team Black meets their relative, Patrick feels like he's looking in a mirror. Team Blue discovers devastating news about a sibling. Team Red's relative shares information about Geselle's uncles. And Team Green gets closer to Andy's father as they visit his childhood home.

When teams meet their relatives it's a day of cousins and discoveries. For Callie, it's a birthday full of fun and surprises from the contestants and relatives. Several teams see pictures of their parents for the very first time. And Geselle on Team Red has an emotional visit to her mother's grave.

Team Black sleeps in and sails through the day with immunity while the rest of the pack struggles with a puzzling challenge. Callie calls Andy to comfort him after he learned that he won't meet his mother. Team Green gets invited to a family reunion. Team Red gets answers about the death of Geselle's sister. And Patrick on Team Black meets a second sibling that welcomes him into the family.

Teams Black and Green fight to avoid elimination with 2 strikes each. The challenge has teams all twisted up as they untangle some drastic knots. But when teams meet family, nobody is more surprised than Callie as she meets a cousin with a big surprise. Geselle finds a niece who has dramatic answers about Giselle's sister. And Andy discovers that he has a new sibling.

Team Green uses their special benefit. Team Red answers a mystery they have hoped for all their lives. Team Green is reenergized by the love their new family shows them. The tears flow when Team Black knows immediately who’s waiting at the doorway for them. And Team Blue can’t hold the tears back when they hear the words they’ve thought about their entire lives.
