What are the legal implications of Stone commutation?

A day after President Trump commuted Roger Stone’s sentence, former Special Counsel Robert Mueller defended his prosecution and conviction of the president’s longtime friend and ally. Stone was found guilty of seven felonies including obstructing a Congressional investigation and witness tampering.
