LGBTQ seniors fear discrimination when searching for housing

Many LGBTQ+ people who live in long-term care communities and senior housing are fearful of being mistreated, neglected, or abused—with some even re-closeting themselves for safety. In many states it's still legal to deny housing and public resource access, and few long-term care facilities have policies to protect residents based on sexual orientation or gender identity. Ivette Feliciano reports.
The Taliban begin talks with the US as governing issues grow

U.S. and Taliban representatives met in Doha, Qatar, this weekend for the first direct talks since the Taliban took control of Afghanistan. The talks will reportedly focus on terrorism, evacuations and a growing humanitarian crisis as winter approaches. Wall Street Journal reporter Saeed Shah joins from Kabul.
