This spring, around 100,000 migrants per month have been caught illegally crossing the U.S.-Mexico border. With a proposed 5 percent tariff on imports from Mexico, one of the largest U.S. trading partners, President Trump wants to leverage economic power to reduce that flow. But will the strategy work?
