Indigenous fashion is rising, and it’s more than style. It's story. In Calgary, Pati Jinich speaks with Chelsa Racette (Founder of Indigenous Fashion Week), Kim Coltman (Producer, Indigenous Fashion Week), and Tyson Martell (Model & Actor) to explore how indigenous fashion is reshaping the industry, reclaiming space, and creating new opportunities for indigenous creatives.

Pati Jinich visits the town of Wildwood in Alberta, which was founded by some of Canada’s earliest black settlers, to hear their story of resilience, community, and the search for a better life. Her visit culminates in a delicious BBQ, highlighting the food traditions that have become part of Alberta's cultural landscape.

In Whitehorse, the capital of Canada’s Yukon Territory, a glassblowing studio has become a community hub. Owner Lunann Baker-Johnson went to art school and studied glassblowing after losing a child to leukemia and now offers that healing and connection through her Lumel Studios.
