Naledi: One Little Elephant

A baby elephant named Naledi has lost her mother to illness. She is able to get a little bit of milk from Cathy, another female in the herd, but without enough to eat she is becoming skinny and weak.

Naledi, an orphaned baby elephant, has barely eaten anything since her mother passed away. Caregivers at Abu Camp in Botswana go through the frustrating process of getting her to feed from a bottle--sometimes with hilarious results.

The future was uncertain for Naledi, an elephant orphaned an early age, but several years after the documentary about her finished filming, she weighed in at over 2000 pounds!
