The Stranger (1946)
Charles Rankin (Orson Welles) is a respected academic at a prominent Connecticut college and seems to have a perfect life. When a detective (Edward G. Robinson) enters the scene, Rankin’s war experiences could come to light and change his world forever. The film, directed by Orson Welles, also stars Loretta Young.
