Ammar is one of thousands of ex-Mujahadin living in Zarqa, Jordan, the hometown of the infamous al Qaeda leader al-Zarqawi. When the war on terror strikes close to home, Ammar comes to a desperate decision.

Recycle reveals distinct yet intertwined stories of three native sons of Zarqa, mainly Abu Ammar, who has to choose between collecting recycling to support his family, being a jihadist, or going abroad to make money.
