Investigator Bjorn arrives at the morgue for an ordinary identification of a young Jane Doe, but the girl turns out to be his own daughter.

Bjorn is led to a luxury apartment where he encounters an unknown woman, who unravels the mysterious and criminal life of his deceased daughter.

Off-hours, Bjorn arrives at a high-end brothel to find a hooker, who reveals everything about how her daughter enjoyed la dolce vita.

Bjorn meets an infamous criminal club owner who confronts him with the fact that his daughter was not the innocent girl that Bjorn remembers.

The arrow points in the direction of Bjorn's former partner in the police, who met up with his daughter on the night of her death.

Only when he interrogates the mysterious man at gunpoint does Bjorn realize that his daughter’s wild lifestyle was due to his own neglect and absence.

Finally convinced he found out how his daughter died, a desperate Bjorn cannot but help notice a detail on her face which changes his perspective.

In a last mad rant, Bjorn connects the dots and paints a picture of the events on the night of the murder. Will he ever be able to stop grieving?
