The Desert Speaks

Goat Packing in the Red Desert

Natural historian and eccentric scientist John Mionczynski guides host David Yetman on a journey through the “heart” of the desert through the Honeycomb Buttes. Along the way, they get to know their four-legged companions and experience the adventures involved in goat packing, including searching for wild cilantro, onion and garlic in the desert and using the excretion from ants as salad dressing.
