Argentina’s Upside-Down Desert, Part 2

beginning in the colonial city of Salta. Take a tour of its downtown market, stroll its streets and glean interesting information from the local guides. Then travel upward through distinctly different biomes, including a fog forest and a beautiful painted desert, before finally reaching the pinnacle. At more than 13,000 feet in elevation, it is the highest and driest northwest Argentine desert.
