Albie's Elevator

Albie is obsessed with Pepperoni Sam crackers, but is not a fan of cleaning up the mess of wrappers until she and Rosie visit a community art project that inspires her to clean up shared spaces; The neighbors bring their favorite kind of toast to an elevator celebration of compliments and warm bread, and a crochet artist helps Albie understand that everyone brings something special to the table.

Jay, Albie, Huggy and friends are exercising and want to add music to their workout, but Albie and Huggy can’t agree on a song until they meet a band that uses voting to pick their songs; Albie uses Rosie’s camera to take funny pictures of friends that Rosie worries might be embarrassing, so she introduces Albie to a street photographer who shows how to highlight her friends’ best qualities.

The Elevator Alligators basketball team is losing and spirits are low, but Albie, Jay, and Bon Bon get an idea to support their friend Stanley and his teammates from a street artist who uses words of kindness in her art; Zia tells Huggy a bedtime story about a knight who overcomes shyness to find his voice and open a golden egg with the help of a hip hop artist who uses rhyme to express ideas.

Neighbor Danny’s rave review of Jay’s lemonade recipe inspires Albie to create her own, but she’s worried she will get it wrong until a mixed media artist encourages her to experiment and try again; Huggy and Albie both want to build the biggest cup tower, but when there aren’t enough cups for everyone a storyteller offers a lesson about compromise and helps them find a solution.

After Albie discovers there’s a neighbor in the building she hasn’t met, she is overwhelmed by what else she doesn’t know, but a visit to a museum educator reveals it’s okay to not have all the answers and wondering can be fun; On Raffle Day, Albie is disappointed in her prize – a lump of clay - until a ceramicist demonstrates how it can be transformed into something fabulous in a fun activity.

When Zia tells Albie “No” for her safety, it takes a visit to an illustrator who demonstrates different ways to imagine the same concept for the friends to realize that “No” doesn’t have to come between them and fun; Albie is having trouble drawing the villain in her “Super Albie” story until Scout C. Spectacles and a muralist show her how to see simple shapes in the things she wants to draw.

Rosie asks Albie to organize the lost shoes in her “shoeseum” - an overwhelming job until tap dancers teach Albie about breaking down a big task using patterns; Albie thinks bigger is better when Huggy is too small to help Zia fix her bicycle, but a visit to a sculptor who works in miniature reminds her that tiny details can be the most important – like the wheel’s air valve only Huggy can close.

Jay and Albie are on a secret mission planning Bon Bon’s surprise party, and a visit with a visual artist who uses confetti to make art inspires Albie to think about her friend’s interests instead of her own to make a truly special celebration; When Albie and Mila’s plans for movie night fall through, they learn from an illustrator how to think creatively and make their own movie masterpiece.

Albie feels overwhelmed when a lobster with a big personality takes over the elevator bubble party, until she learns from a glass blower how to fill up her “me bubble” with confidence; Albie wants the elevator to be a no rules zone but Zia, Tibitz, and DJ Diamond Kuts explain what happened when DJ T.Bitz hosted a No Rules Disco and why rules are a good way to keep everyone safe while having fun.

At Zia’s band practice Albie dreams of becoming a keytar rockstar but before she can be a star, she needs to learn about practice from a screen printer who makes t-shirts and Zia’s music idol, JK Saxophonay; Albie is too nervous to share the hat she designed during Jay’s elevator camp until a fashion designer inspires Albie to believe in her own ideas and be proud of her work.
