On November 11th, Judy Woodruff announced that she is stepping away as anchor of PBS NewsHour. Her last evening at the PBS NewsHour anchor desk will be December 30th, 2022. She will continue on the program as a senior correspondent through 2024 with a special national reporting project, Judy Woodruff Presents: America at a Crossroads, exploring how the American people see their country and whether today’s deep political divisions can be healed. We are delighted she will continue to be part of WETA and of PBS NewsHour.
Please join in congratulating Judy Woodruff on this new venture and in thanking her for her unwavering commitment to excellence in journalism and to the mission of public broadcasting.
