Beethoven Brahms Violin Concertos: Gil Shaham

This week's featured album shines the spotlight on the acclaimed American violinist Gil Shaham in partnership with NYC-based orchestra The Knights. They've recorded two of the 19th-century's most important violin concertos -- by Beethoven and Brahms -- focusing on their relationship to each other, in particular through the life of violinist Joseph Joachim.
