Mozart’s most powerful opera, and considered one of the greatest in the repertoire, Don Giovanni is based on the legend of Don Juan in a study of the Don’s licentious life that comes to haunt him in a fiery finale. Comedy, drama, seduction and the supernatural combine to capture the downfall of a serial womanizer in Mozart’s retelling.
