Using all 12 major and minor keys at a single keyboard, and on demand, wasn't always a viable option. Tuning systems evolved over the centuries, and so did the music, often in experimental ways. Sam Post tells us all about his rhythmic reimagining of one of the staples of the piano student repertoire, the preludes and fugues in Bach's Well-Tempered Clavier Book 1.
You won't hear Bach's original the same way again!
