This week's Choral Showcase presents Paulus, an oratorio by Felix Mendelssohn. Modeled on the style of Bach, this 1836 work, one of Mendelssohn's most dramatic and successful creations, tells the story of Paul's conversion on the road to Damascus and his mission as "apostle to the Gentiles."
