It's Bach Month on Classical WETA, so on this week's Choral Showcase, we honor Palm Sunday with a presentation of the St. Mark Passion. While the music to this passion by Bach is lost to us, the original libretto survives, and there have been many reconstructions. We'll hear one by Alexander Grychtrolik, newly arranged by Jordi Savall, who conducts La Capella Reial de Catalunya and Les Concert des Nations.
