August 3: Wolf Trap Opera - Tosca
A visceral story of love, betrayal, and sacrifice, Puccini’s Tosca delivers operatic drama at its most electrifying. Fueled by Puccini’s sublime score—featuring “Vissi d’arte” and “E lucevan le stelle”—Tosca races toward a shocking, unforgettable finale.
Sung in Italian with English captions. Two hours and 40 minutes with two intermissions. Sensitive Content Warning: This production contains depictions of sexual violence, murder, suicide, and gunshot sounds.
