On a recent episode of Classical Breakdown, your guide to classical music, we talked about Peanuts Gallery, a piano concerto by Ellen Taaffe Zwilich, a Pulitzer Prize winning American composer. It brings all the Peanuts characters to life, and in that episode, we learned all about the music and how different art forms come together in culture.
I also recently spoke with this composer, we talked about several of her works, and when you listen to the interview on WETA Virtuoso (see On Air This Week for the schedule), we’ll also hear one of the works afterwards.
