A new work by Damien Geter gets its Washington premiere on October 24 at the Anna H. Wang Concert Series. It’s called Declaration, features J’Nai Bridges with a libretto by Aaron Dworkin, and marks both the 30th anniversary of the Sphynx Organization and the 250th of the United States of America.
Damien and I will give a pre-concert talk this Saturday beforehand to discuss the details, but to get us ready for that and the world premiere, he went ahead and gave us an idea as to what we can expect in this work and each movement.
The interview can also be heard on WETA Virtuoso on the following times:
October 21 at 6:46AM
October 23 at 8:59PM
