Arizona has been a hotbed for election denialism since 2020, and misinformation is now disrupting what is typically a routine election procedure. One of the state’s 15 counties failed to meet Monday's deadline to certify this year’s midterm election results and Kari Lake, who lost the election for governor, filed a lawsuit against Maricopa County. Stephanie Sy reports.

Back from the Thanksgiving holiday, the Democratic-controlled Congress is up against a ticking clock. There are now just five weeks until Republicans take over the majority in the House of Representatives. There’s a long list of priorities lawmakers are trying to pass before the end of the year. Congressional Correspondent Lisa Desjardins reports.

A federal jury convicted the founder of the Oath Keepers militia, Stewart Rhodes, of seditious conspiracy in the January 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol.
