In Michigan, volunteers step up to deliver water amid crisis

Like Flint before it, Benton Harbor, MI is in the midst of a lead water crisis. The water flowing through the city’s pipes isn't safe — and drinking it risks lead exposure. There are over 9,000 residents in this small community, most of them Black. More than 40% live below the poverty line. But while locals wait for a solution, some are stepping up to help, delivering bottled water door to door.
