Chicago's mayor called the president an authoritarian, but the Trump administration defended his approach and warned guard troops could be deployed to other cities. Lisa Desjardins reports on how lawmakers are viewing the protests and the president's response.

President Trump’s remarks at Fort Bragg on Tuesday added to concerns over his military deployment in California. The president spoke to a crowd that was reportedly handpicked for a political point of view, delivered highly partisan remarks and sold MAGA merchandise on the base. Amna Nawaz discussed more with Graham Parsons.

The city of Los Angeles has been the center of protests against federal immigration raids. Mayor Karen Bass and more than two dozen other California mayors have asked President Trump to end the sweeps. Bass joined Geoff Bennett to discuss the latest.

A curfew in downtown Los Angeles remains in effect and more than 350 protesters have been arrested there since the weekend. The National Guard said some troops may be deployed with immigration agents as well. Special correspondent Marcia Biggs reports from Los Angeles.
