Greenland - Ice Mountain

During their expedition in Greenland, the team is forced to trek across a frigid river while also battling quicksand beyond the water.

With current rates of warming, many of Greenland’s glaciers will melt altogether by the end of the century. As the team faces one of these glaciers through rising temperatures during the day, they experience a steep, slushy, and exhausting climb while also having to watch for dangerous drops created by crevasses.

Expedition continues in Greenland as Steve aims to summit a steep mountain. Once the group begins their vertical climb to reach the top, there will be no sleep until they’ve worked their way back down.

Steve and a team of experts ascend a mountain that no human has climbed before. As they make their way up over falling rocks and through snow, they’re also faced with three steep rock pinnacles before reaching the summit.

The team has come to Greenland for an extraordinary challenge. Many of the peaks remain unclimbed and unexplored having no human foot set upon them. Steve leads the team of explorers to conquer one last frozen frontier but when you’re on an expedition, you can only climb the mountain that’s in front of you and in this case, that mountain is a river.
