Tzuyi Chen Piano Recital: Tributes to Great Musicians During Wartime

Come join the musical journey with acclaimed Taiwanese pianist Tzu-yi Chen in her 2018 fall recital as she pays tribe to iconic works by greatest classical composers during wartime. Inspired by music’s power to overcome difficulties in troubled times over the centuries, the musician hopes to take classical music fans to reflect on the pursuit of peace and harmony through music in conflict-ridden modern society.

Beethoven: Piano Sonata No.23 in f minor op.57 "Appassionata"

Ravel: Gaspard De La Nuit

Tchaikovsky: Dumka

Prokofiev: Piano Sonata No.6 in A major op.82
