Le Jardin Chinois: Music of 18th-Century France

Folger Consort explores the allure of China for the 18th-century French musical imagination in the works of Rameau, Marais, and others. With soprano Jolle Greenleaf, violin, harpsichord, erhu, and traverse flute. Concert performances are Friday at 8pm, Saturday at 5pm and 8pm, and Sunday at 2pm.

Tickets: $37

An Early Music Seminar will discuss the planned music pieces and their history in depth, on Wednesday, March 19 at 6pm.
