Brave New World: Music of The Tempest

Folger Consort performs a program exploring and celebrating the musical interpretations of Shakespeare's The Tempest, including Matthew Locke’s 1674 incidental music for orchestra and voices and a beguiling 2000 piece by American composer James Primosch. Featuring soprano Rosa Lamoreaux, baritone William Sharp, and Philadelphia-based baroque orchestra Tempesta di Mare. Concert performances are Friday and Saturday at 8pm.
