Jewish intellectuals, writers, artists and storytellers, including Tony Kushner, Judith Butler, James Schamus and Gary Shteyngart, along with a wide spectrum of young and older less well-known Jews, discuss what they were told growing up about Israel, and how their world views may have changed since then about their relationship as Jews with Israel and the Middle East.

This new film explores the sea change taking place in the U.S. among Jewish Americans, who in a variety of ways now question the Israel-right-or-wrong policy of mainstream Jewish American organizations.
