Free Patuxent Wildlife Art Show & Sale and Environmental Film Festival

24th Annual Wildlife Art Show and Sale on March 23 (9:00 am to 4:30 pm) and March 24 (11:00 am to 4:30 pm), 2013. Spend a weekend surrounded by nature at the Patuxent Research Refuge amid the beautiful wildlife art of over 30 nationally recognized wildlife artists, artisans and crafters. The art show is free and open to the public. Proceeds benefit environmental education and research programs. Highlights of the weekend include wildlife, Interpretive Tram Tours as well as a Environmental Film Festival venue:
➢ Films: Screening of “Ducks – a Duckumentary” and
➢ Screening of “The Central Park Effect” (birding in NYC)
➢ Live birds of prey from Raptor’s Eye
➢ Live Wood Duck with Patuxent researchers
➢ Maryland Migratory Game Bird Design Contest
➢ Maryland Bear Stamp Contest
