Black History Month Concert of dance, music, and poetry

Black History Month concert features the Kathy Harty Gray Dancers, poetry readings by students and faculty of the Northern Virginia Community College, and music performed by the NOVA Jazz Band and the NOVA Community Chorus. Special guests are Joyce Garrett and the renowned Choir of Alfred Street Baptist Church, and Lisa Edwards Burrs, an internationally recognized soprano.
No tickets are required. Donations are requested. Parking is $6. For more information email or call 703-845-6097.

Dr. Edwards Burrs will also present a Voice Master class on Tuesday, February 27, at 2:00 pm in Room 130 of the Tyler Building on the Alexandria Campus (3001 N. Beauregard).
