Medical Museum Science Café: “Operation Reboot: The Healing Power of Animal Therapy”

Warrior Canine Connection (WCC) is a therapeutic service dog training program designed to naturally reduce the symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) & traumatic brain injury in veterans & service members. WCC is offered at the National Intrepid Center of Excellence at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. It has been proven that interaction with animals reduces symptoms of depression & stress. Hear more on how the program works & meet some of the WCC dogs!
