Britten's 100th Birthday Celebration Concert

Cantate Chamber Singers (Gisèle Becker, Music Director) is paying tribute to the great British composer Benjamin Britten on his centenary. Our first concert of the season offers the rare chance to hear Britten's edition of the beloved Mozart Requiem, Britten's exquisite Serenade for Tenor, Horn and Strings, and Cantata Misericordium, his unforgettably haunting interpretation of the tale of the Good Samaritan. Special guests include Laurel Ohlson of the National Symphony Orchestra, horn, and Robert Baker, tenor, Steven Combs, baritone, Deborah Sternberg, soprano, and Carrie Lee-Eyler, mezzo-soprano.
