Julie Huang Tucker

Julie Huang Tucker grew up listening to WETA Classical 90.9 FM as an aspiring musician; now an accomplished choral conductor and keyboard artist, she is excited to be a fill-in host at the station.

She is the pianist of QuinTango and has made appearances at the Kennedy Center and National Cathedral as an organist, accompanist, and singer. She was a conductor in SHIFT Festival of American Orchestra’s symphonic workshop and Yale’s chamber vocal workshop. As Music Coordinator at the Amy Biehl Foundation in South Africa, she worked with prison inmate and township youth choirs.
