Soprano Corinne Winters appears with the New York Festival of Song at the Kennedy Center Terrace Theater under the auspices of Vocal Arts DC. The concert is Thursday, April 30 at 7:30. Steven Blier and Michael Barrett accompany Corinne Winters, tenor Theo Lebow and baritone Alexey Lavrov in a program titled "Letters from Spain: A World of Song from Spanish Poetry." On the program, music from Shostakovich's Spanish Songs, Schumann's Spanisches Liederspiel, William Bolcom's Canciones de Lorca and works by Sergei Taneyev, Hugo Wolf, Peter Lieberson, Xavier Montsalvage, Enrique Granados and many others.
